Iranian parliament speaker's special aide for international affairs condemned Bahrain's agreement with the Zionist regime to normalize relations as a great betrayal to the Islamic cause & Palestinians.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote on Twitter that the imprudent leaders in UAE, and Bahrain agreements with Israel to normalize relations pave the way for the Zionist schemes.

Bahraini regime's compromise w/ #Israel is a great betrayal to the Islamic cause & Palestinians. The imprudent leaders in UAE, #Bahrain must not pave the way for the Zionist schemes. They should learn lessons from history. Tomorrow is late! The US lifeline has worn out for years. pic.twitter.com/4QAkWpx3us

pointing to the US-cooked plot regarding the UAE to normalize ties with the Zionist regime, اe advised them to learn from history.

Manama and Tel Aviv agreed on Friday to fully normalize diplomatic relations following US President Donald Trump's efforts to facilitate the normalization of relations between the two sides.

Bahrain, a tiny island kingdom off the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia in the Persian Gulf, has strategic significance for Washington as the host for the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet.

The announcement follows one last month by Israel and the UAE. that they would normalize relations with each other, on the condition that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel not follow through with plans to annex portions of the West Bank. Trump administration officials said that they hoped that agreement would encourage other Arab countries with historically hostile relations toward Israel to take similar steps.

The agreement was brokered in large part by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who has led the administration’s effort to strike a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.
