Tehran, June 9, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif lauded Iranian high school students' political wisdom who played scenarios of Iran and major world powers.
On Sunday, Zarif attended an event titled My Mission at the prestigious high school Allameh Helli in Tehran.
"In awe of these 8th graders, whose final exam was to play the role of Iran & major powers amid Iran-US diplomatic, economic, cultural, scientific & military row," he wrote on his Twitter account.
"They were given full discretion on policy options—their choices prove why the US should #NeverThreatenAnIranian," Zarif said using the hashtag of his famous quote.
The sentence was used by the Iranian top diplomat in some occasions, with the latest in a tweet addressed at the US President Donald Trump after he warned Iran of a possible war.
"Never threaten an Iranian, Try respect—it works!" Zarif replied.
