Senior Advisor to Iranian Speaker: Palestine Still Muslim World's Main Concern

TEHRAN (FNA)- Senior Advisor to the Iranian Parliament Speaker Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined that the Muslim countries should not sideline the issue of Palestine.

"The issue of Palestine should be kept alive as the major issue of the Islamic world," Amir Abdollahian said on Saturday.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister reiterated that supporting the Palestinian nation and confronting Israel will effectively contribute to the entire region's security.

Amir-Abdollahian described the Sixth International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising) as an effective and strategic measure in support of the Palestinian nation and combatants against the terrorist and child-killing Israeli regime.

"Muslims will never abandon their first Qibla and they will stay with the oppressed Palestinian nation until their complete victory and liberation of Beit ul-Moqaddas," the Iranian deputy foreign minister said.

The 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada ended on Wednesday evening issuing a 24-point final statement calling for an end to seven decades of Israeli occupation of Palestine.
