The Statement by the Secretariat of the International Conference on Supporting Palestinian Intifada on Condemning the Israeli Regime’s Recent Aggressions on Gaza
The Permanent Secretariat of the International Conference on Supporting Palestinian Intifada (Uprising) at the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran vehemently condemns the Zionist regime’s recent vicious and brutal aggressions against the defenseless and besieged people of Gaza. These acts of aggression flout all international and human rights norms and resolutions adopted by respective institutions and organizations.
After twelve years of blockading Gaza and depriving the residents of their basic right to life, the terrorist occupying regime of al-Quds has now reached their worst level of effrontery and atrocity: they use highly advanced US-gifted military equipment and, in plain view of the public, bombard the civilians in full brutality and demolish vital infrastructures of the region in order to choke the oppressed and helpless nation of Palestine.
Doubtlessly enough, the apathy and silence that reign in the World of Islam, particularly in certain Arab countries that interact with and appease the Zionist regime but also within the so-called human rights organizations, afford the criminal leaders of the Zionist regime the opportunity to continue their crimes against the oppressed Palestinian nation – a people whose guilt is but defense of their motherland and of their right to life.
Commending and welcoming the intrepid and righteous measure taken by the Parliament of Ireland to put a ban on products made in the Zionist settlements, the Permanent Secretariat of the International Conference on Supporting Palestinian Intifada urges world parliaments as well as non-governmental and international organisations to make a concerted effort to condemn and put a stop to the Zionist regime’s recurrent and continual perpetration of crimes against the Palestinian nation and to the continuation of the blockade which has deprived the Gaza residents of their basic rights. This will lay the ground for the trial of the heads of this regime in the Hague’s International Court of Justice for the war crimes they have committed.
